- Julia started Space Time Ltd in 2013 in response to a growing need by businesses to manage
compliance and international trade risk.
She is a compliance risk specialist with over 25 years in the industry and more than 15 years experience in Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and International Export Trade Controls & Sanctions. She has been instrumental in the design, implementation and improvement of global compliance, corporate audit and risk management programmes.
Her experience has included advising major global clients in Manufacturing, Speciality Chemicals, Fuel Production, Aerospace & Defence, and Advanced Materials on their compliance programmes. She has experience with UK, EU, and US export control regulations including relevant sanctions regimes as well as both the UK Bribery Act, FCPA
and data management requirements. She has conducted reviews to identify areas of risk and has advised clients on the development, improvement and deployment of internal compliance programmes and responses to global consent agreements and deferred prosecution agreements.
She is a Member of the International Export Control Profession (MIExCP) and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI). She is also an experienced lecturer, having advised on graduate and post-graduate business degrees at a QS World Ranked 4 Star University as well as having developed corporate curriculums and delivering in-house training programmes for the blue light industry.
She was also a commissioned officer in the Royal Naval Reserve Maritime Trade Organisation for over 15 years.
